Michael Vick rewrote what a quarterback could be. A dual-threat before the league had a word for it, he turned a routine snap into must-watch television every time he touched the ball.
At Virginia Tech he became a national phenomenon, leading the Hokies to a national championship game appearance and finishing as a Heisman finalist as a redshirt freshman. In 2001 the Atlanta Falcons made him the first overall pick of the NFL Draft.
Across 13 NFL seasons with Atlanta, Philadelphia, the New York Jets and Pittsburgh, Vick earned four Pro Bowl selections and became the first quarterback in league history to rush for more than 1,000 yards in a single season. His comeback with the Eagles, capped by the 2010 NFL Comeback Player of the Year award, remains one of the most compelling chapters in modern football.
Today he channels that same drive into broadcasting, coaching, mentorship and the stage, speaking candidly about resilience, accountability and second chances to audiences and organizations across the country.
